Exact quote3D modeling is the bridge between your idea and the physical object. Anyone can describe a part they want — but to make it printable (or producible by any method), it needs a clean CAD file, correctly dimensioned, with proper wall thickness and no geometry issues.
At elementa3D we do two kinds of work: 1) we create 3D files from scratch for clients who only have an idea, a sketch or a brief; 2) we repair and optimize existing files that aren't printable as-is (open geometry, walls too thin, supports needed, etc.).
We use Fusion 360, Blender and Rhino depending on the project type. Every delivered file is tested in a slicer (Bambu Studio or Cura) before delivery — we guarantee it can be printed without issues.

Can you model a part based only on photos?

Yes, if the photos have enough angles and reference dimensions. For mechanical parts with tight tolerances, we recommend 3D scanning for maximum fidelity.
What software do you use?

Do I get the source file or just the export?

Standard delivery is STL + STEP/OBJ. The parametric CAD source (.f3d, .blend) is optional, extra cost — for cases where you'll want to edit it in the future.
How many iterations are included?

Standard is 2 iterations (initial concept + major revision). Extra iterations are billed separately. For large projects, we propose milestones with approval at each stage.
Can I use the file for other methods (casting, CNC)?

Yes, the delivered CAD files are universal. We help you optimize them for your chosen production method (CNC, injection, casting).
